Degree Zero Point of Implosion

  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

Black 33.3 RPM vinyl in standard slipcase.

    Postage: $10 Australia, $30 International.

I'm really sorry about the high postage, but the pandemic shipping prices are exorbitant.
It costs me $35 to post one of these outside of Australia, so I make no money from these sales.
Still, I would rather these records be in the hands of fans than sitting in a box in my studio.

Includes unlimited streaming of Degree Zero Point of Implosion via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

about

This was the second two-piece HALO recording, following a few months after Guattari.. (which was picked up and released by Relapse Records several years later, hence why it does not appear here).
Recorded live to 8-track in a warehouse in inner city Melbourne. Like all later HALO recordings, improvised and recorded live.

Originally released on CDR, available via mailorder, and we took a few copies on tour in '03.

Reissued on 12" vinyl in 2011 by With Intent Records, available here.

about

HALO Australia

HALO was (is?) a two-piece improvised noise/doom band.

Beginning as a four-piece in the late 1990s, HALO self-released a number of albums on CDR while swiftly metamorphosing to something else entirely.

Shedding members and instrumentation along the way, HALO signed with Relapse Records in 2002, reissuing one album, and releasing a follow up, before drifting apart due to geographical differences.
